My DVR Runneth Over
1. Brothers and Sisters
2. Desperate Housewives
3. Modern Family
4. The Bachelor/Bachelorette
5. Dancing With the Stars (I fast forward quite a bit on this one, and don't even mess with the results show most of the time)
6. Last Comic Standing (Where did this show go?)
7. Hoarders (We aren't very good at keeping up with this one and Intervention, but they're good when we're bored.)
8. Intervention
9. Grey's Anatomy (So out of the loop on this show. I don't even know why Izzie left the show, but I caught the season-finale replay last week, and got sucked back in...hate it when that happens!)
10. Jersey Shore
11. Biggest Loser (having a fast forward option is cruicial for this show...I can't deal with 2-hour episodes!)
12. Project Runway
13. The Office
14. Community (stopped watching mid-season last year, but I'm giving it another shot)
15. Oprah (I'm kind of over her, but it's the last season, and I feel an obligation to watch, or at least sort through and watch the good ones)
16. Real Housewives (All of them. I do not discriminate against housewives.)
17. & 18. Teen Mom & Real World (I don't actually record these, however, I do watch them On Demand. Somehow, I think that makes it less embarrassing.)
A few that are not on the schedule, but are dangerously close to making the cut:
1. Keeping up with the Kardashians (No need to record this one because it's ALWAYS on E.)
2. The Rachel Zoe Project (She annoys me to no end, and I can't stand that she has major meltdowns over *gasp* clothes, but I do find myself repeating her little catch phrases...shut the front door, bananas, major, literally (pronounced litrally), etc...)
3. & 4. Mad Men & 30 Rock (I've never seen either of these, but my friend says they are a must)What shows are worthy of your DVR?

Business in the Front, Party in the Back
I would also like to point out that our days with the ducky tub are numbered. This little girl is not so little anymore, and her baths are getting a bit cramped. Ugh...why do they have to grow up so fast??
Let the (CVS) Games Begin
I purchased all of this for around $40 (can't remember exactly), and walked away with around $12 ECBs for future purchases. (that's Maybelline eye shadow and lipstick up front)
.................96 cents!!!
The Revlon lipstick was $6.99 alone! I also earned $12 ECBs for next week. I'm addicted, and clearly, very easily entertained.

Shame on Me

So, what do I do with her selfless act of kindness and generousity? I keep it for Izzy. Yes, you read correctly. I am keeping the dress for Izzy. I'm an awful person, I know. I'm sorry, but it is just too cute. And with the Stock Show coming up in a few months, all I can think about is how adorable this will be on Izzy with some leggings and boots, and I just can't handle it. Don't you worry though - I just made an online donation so that I wouldn't feel guilty about being so selfish. Yes, I donated to myself, but whatev...
Thank you, Jill!

Viva Las Vegas
The firm Griff works for takes a firm-wide trip every other year, and spouses/guests get to tag along for the fun. Over the years, we've been on a crusie to the Bahamas, Las Vegas, a second cruise to the Bahamas, a Club Med resort in Florida, and this year was another trip to Las Vegas. He works for some really great people, but I have to say, they are especially great around trip time. ;-)
Here's where I state the obvious: Vegas is HOT, especially in August. And I don't care what you say about a dry heat, 108 degrees is hot, dry or not, dangit! Griff and I ventured out for shopping one day (I'm still not sure how I coninvced him to go) and I was drenched in sweat by the time we got back to our hotel. It must be some sort of desert mirage how all the places along the strip look like such a short distance away until you start walking. We walked from our hotel, the Mirage, to the M&M store next to MGM and back, and it was quite a trek...much longer than it appears. We spent a lot of time hanging out in the pool with other people from the firm, which was a lot of fun, and the 50 degree pool really took our minds off of the 108 degree temperature outside. Plus, hotel pools are always great for people-watching, and this one did not disappoint.
While we're on the subject of food, I have to admit that I gained a good 4 pounds while in Vegas. Clearly my time would have been better spent blowing money at the tables, rather than stuffing my face for three days straight. Our first destination upon arrival was In and Out Burger, which was new terrain for me. I'm honestly not big on burgers. I know if you were on this trip with me, you are thinking I'm full of it, as you saw me eat one by myself and split three with Griff. And for those of you who were not there, let me remind you, this trip was only 3 days. That's a lot of burgers. Anyway....it's not that I don't like them (obviously), I just rarely order them. So, I definitley am not a burger connoisseur, but I thought the In and Out Burger was really good. Definitely the best fast food burger I've ever had, but definitely not the best I've ever had. By the way, their fries are nothing special.

When we weren't eating or people-watching at the pool, we saw O by Cirque du Soleil (Very impressive, but kind of long, or maybe it was just that it was late and I

Coolio was in da house! That's right, you know you remember..."slide, slide, slippity-slide...." Not sure what he's been up to since the 90's, but it was fun to spot him at the Mirage. It seems his entourage has gotten a little smaller since his Gangsta's Paradise days. I realize this is quite possibly the worst picture on Earth, but hubs only had his phone with him. And when Coolio presents himself, you must take a picture. Even when all you have is a Blackberry...

Two-thumbs up for this trip! Thanks, WP! And thanks to Nanna and Pop-Pop for keeping Baby Girl while we were away! She started babbling, which she had never done before, the day after we got back. We left for Cabo, and she was walking when we returned; we went to Vegas, and she started "talking." Maybe we should take more vacations?

When She's Not Watching Cartoons...

Even Wonder Woman takes a break for milk now and then.

Thanks to Amelia for this precious onesie! She wore it to The Little Gym today and got tons of compliments.
